How the programme works
Year 11 moves quickly. Small gaps become expensive.
Many Higher-tier students can complete routine questions but lose marks when topics are combined, wording is unfamiliar or they need to choose the method themselves. This programme identifies those gaps early and repairs the skills that unlock the most marks.

Complete a free diagnostic covering number, algebra, graphs, ratio, geometry and Higher-tier problem solving.

Receive a concise starting-point profile showing strengths, priority gaps and whether the programme is a suitable fit.

Attend six structured lessons, complete Atlas practice and finish with a personalised mock-exam action plan.
The Year 11 Grade 7–9 Accelerator
A six-week academic intervention for Higher-tier students currently working around grades 5–7 and aiming for grades 7–9.
Diagnostic repair
Number accuracy, algebra foundations and individual priority gaps.
Higher algebra
Expanding, factorising, equations and choosing the correct algebraic form.
Quadratics and graphs
Roots, factorisation, graph interpretation and connected representations.
Ratio and proportion
Reverse percentages, compound measures and multi-step proportional reasoning.
Geometry and trigonometry
Selecting the correct theorem, formula or route in unfamiliar diagrams.
Grade 7–9 problem solving
Synoptic assessment, exam communication and an individual mock-preparation plan.

Students who still need intensive support with Foundation arithmetic will be given a more appropriate recommendation after the diagnostic.

Frequently asked questions
Does completing the diagnostic commit us to the programme?
No. The diagnostic is free and the recommendation will be based on whether the programme is genuinely suitable.
What happens if my child misses a lesson?
The lesson resources and recording will be shared where appropriate. Individual replacement lessons are not included.
Which exam boards are covered?
The core Higher-tier skills apply across Edexcel and AQA. Relevant exam-board differences will be highlighted where necessary.
How much work is completed between lessons?
Approximately 30 minutes per week, normally an Atlas mission section and a short mastery check.
Can my child continue after the six weeks?
Every student receives an individual recommendation. Suitable students may continue into a mock-preparation or ongoing group programme.

The diagnostic takes approximately 25 minutes and measures five important Higher-tier strands. A provisional starting-point result is then sent to the parent or guardian.
